The TTPS’ Domestic Violence Unit is making a significantly positive impact on domestic violence crimes across T&T.
That’s according to Superintendent of the Special Victims Unit, Claire Guy-Alleyne, who shared this information during a Ministry of Gender and Child Affairs Online Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday.
Superintendent Guy-Alleyne said that education plays a major part in the unit’s work.
Other guests at the Town Hall Meeting included Psychologist Dr. Dianne Douglas, Prisons Officer II of the Programmes and Industry Department of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, Wendell Bompart, and a former intimate, Mr. D. K.
