The words of Assistant Commissioner of Police Winston Maharaj who says he is debunking the myth that members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will be withholding their services during the Carnival season.
Speaking during a National Security Media Conference on Monday, ACP Maharaj says the TTPS stays committed to maintaining high visibility during Carnival and non-Carnival events.
Further underscoring their dedication to provide optimum security, Assistant Police Commissioner Kelvern Thompson confirmed that measures were put in place to protect those who will be camping this carnival season.
