The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association (TTUTA) has congratulated all students who wrote the SEA exam.
Its President, Antonia De Freitas, said the fact that they were able to write the exam in the pandemic should be celebrated.
But she said there must be another way to promote students to Secondary Schools, as the exam puts a lot of pressure on the Standard Fives.
As it pertains to the decline in grades, she said this was expected, especially as this was the second year that the exams were written in the pandemic.
