No Kaisorama or Calypso Fiesta unless the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organisation (TUCO) gets an additional million dollars. That’s the word from TUCO President, Ainsley King.
He adds the calypso tents are all that can be funded by the current budget.
Mr. King maintains that the matter has been discussed with the National Carnival Commission but he expects to solicit additional funding from corporate Trinidad.
The TUCO President is adamant that the current budget of $1.5 million will not suffice to properly execute the annual Calypso Fiesta and Kaisorama events.
