Highlighting some of their achievements from 2024, United way Trinidad and Tobago continues to be a champion for the culture of giving as they prepare for the Day of Caring carded for May 18, 2025.
Celebrating 25 years of service, as a part of a global network of 1,800 United Way, continues to impact and strengthen communities throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

“The initiative a clarion call to inspire and uplift our communities, promoting the message that every individual regardless of their background has an equally opportunity to succeed.”
Recipient of this initiative, Principal Anica Batiste-Campbell, shared how her school St. Mary’s Mucurapo Girls RC School has benefited.
“We were able to get freshly painted classrooms, a refurbished library space,an updated computer room and a revitalization of our members of staff to engage in restarting our schools gardening programme. The students were especially proud in September 2024, as they were active participants on that day of caring.”
In 2024, through a partnership with 9 companies, United Way reported that they achieved 58 projects through the dedication of over 2100 care ambassadors.
“We touched the lives of students in 35 primary and secondary schools. Breathed life into 20 homes for children and the elderly and invigorated 6 communities. In total we affected close to 20,000 beneficiaries throughout Trinidad and Tobago all united under the banner, united is the way.”
United Way co-chair called on the public to participate in their care activities on May 18, 2025,emphasizing that involvement is a way to foster positive change and contribute to improving the lives of fellow citizens.
