UWI-ROYTEC Launches Pathway to Success Programme

Over a four-week period, from July 17th to August 11th, 161 students will benefit from ‘Pathway to Success’ – the latest initiative of The UWI School of Business and Applied Studies (UWI-ROYTEC).

Students will receive valuable information into promising careers within the fields of Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

President of Western United Credit Union and Corporate Sponsor, Mark Ferrette, lauded UWI-ROYTEC’s vision to assist students on their various career pathways.

The Programme is open to students awaiting Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) results.

The initiative will also expose students to UWI-ROYTEC’s academic programmes, namely the Associate Degree in Management and Associate Degree in Information Systems Management that students can qualify for with CSEC or CAPE.

Port of Spain Mayor Joel Martinez encouraged the students to make the best of the programme, and take advantage of the opportunities to network with each other.
