UWI Zoology Museum

Children from ages 6 to 13 stepped into a world where history and excitement collided.

The University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus’ Zoology Museum hosted scores of curious children from across the country.

The children were enthralled by the Museum’s display of one of the oldest skeletons in the West Indies, Banwari man/woman, among the exhibitions and artefacts.

These tours were facilitated during the July/August vacation by the Department of Life Sciences at the Faculty of Science and Technology, in partnership with the National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST).
