UWI’s 75th Anniversary Research Awards Ceremony

Research has always been one of the fundamental mandates of the University of the West Indies.

As such, the researchers were highly commemorated for their work which contributed to the progression of the institution and by extension the nation.

The festivities took place in the UWI St. Augustine Campus as they celebrated at their 75th Anniversary Research Awards Ceremony on Wednesday.

Principal of the campus, Professor Rose-Marie Belle Antoine, said she believes that interdisciplinary research is the key to sustainability and success.

Some of the Award categories included the Principal’s Award for Best Researcher, the Principal’s Award for Most Impactful Community Research, Best Team Research, and Most Outstanding Regional/International Research Project to name a few.
