A 30-year-old Venezuelan national was found with AR rifles and ammunition during a traffic stop on Friday.
Reports indicate that officers proceeded to the M2 Ring Road near Debe roundabout, when they stopped a white Nissan AD Wagon driven by the suspect.
A search of the vehicle revealed four AR Rifles and eleven magazines.
The driver, who resides in Harmony Hall, Marabella, was arrested and taken to the Marabella Police Station.
Officers then proceeded to Hill Top Drive, Claxton Bay, where they found and seized a quantity of marijuana at two
homes. The drugs amounted to 175 grams.
Two suspects were arrested during the exercise and are expected to be charged for possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
