Walcott, Ahye In Action At IAAF Continental Tour’s FBK Games

Olympians Keshorn Walcott and Michelle Lee Ahye were both in action today on the IAAF Continental Tour’s FBK Games in the Netherlands.

Walcott, the 2012 Olympic Javelin Gold Medallist, came up against a tough field and finished second with a season’s best throw of 83.56 metres. Winning the event was Germany’s Julian Webber with a 87.14 metre throw, and completing the top three was Oliver Helander of Finland with a throw of 80.50 metres.

Sprinter Ahye finished down the field in the Women’s 100, stopping the clock at 11:35 seconds for a seventh place finish.

Winning the race was Great Britain’s Daryl Neita in 11.05 seconds. Egypt’s Bassant Hemida was second in 11.16 and third Victoria Rosa of Brazil in 11.18
