West Indies left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican has reached a new career high in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings following a stellar showing in the Second Test against Pakistan in Multan.
Warrican’s match-winning haul of 9 for 70 earned him Player of the Match honours and propelled him 16 places up the rankings to 25th. Across the two-match series, he claimed 19 wickets, which also secured him the Player of the Series Award and a total rise of 28 places in the rankings.
Fast bowler Kemar Roach has climbed to 18th after moving up one spot, while left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie surged six places to 58th.
Meanwhile, West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite’s crucial half-century in the second innings, which helped seal a 120-run victory, saw him advance eight places to 44th in the batting rankings.
