Thirty eight hours ahead of schedule, the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has completed its repair on a 48-inch main off the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant.
The pipeline, located in the forested area of Valencia, services consumers in the Sangre Grande, La Horquetta, Maloney Gardens and other areas, ruptured and workers began the repair on Tuesday evening.
Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, said every effort is being made to restore water to WASA’s customers.
