Communities in lower Paramin will soon benefit from a vast improved water supply with the commissioning of the newly-constructed Saut D’eau Water Treatment Facility, formerly the Paramin Base Station.
Constructed over eighteen months, the Saut D’eau Water Treatment Facility is expected to service three zones that have water supply challenges. Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, confirmed that the work doesn’t end there.
Minister Gonzales said through the Well Development Programme and other infrastructural improvement projects, it is expected that 85% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago will soon have access to a 24/7 water supply.
