West Indies ‘A’ Win By Three Wickets Against Bangladesh

Joshua Da Silva and his West Indies ‘A’ team secured a win in the Second unofficial Test versus Bangladesh in Sylhet today.

On the final day of the four-day match, Bangladesh resumed on 274 for 6 with an overall lead of 166 runs. They lost wickets steadily in the first session of play and were all out for 297.

Kevin Sinclair, with his right arm off-breaks, was the best bowler, taking 5 for 79 while Akeem Jordan chipped in with a useful 2 for 38.

In pursuit of 190 for victory, the West Indies lost Kirk McKenzie with just 14 runs on the board and were losing the occasional wicket to some tight bowling by the home team but 54 from Brandon King and 47 not out by Da Silva put them on course for a 1-0 series lead with one match remaining – West Indies ‘A’ winning by three wickets.
