The Leeward Islands Hurricanes took a commanding position on the second day of the third round match in the West Indies Championship against the T&T Red Force.
At Diego Martin, resuming the day on 308 for 7, the visitors added a further 49 runs before being bowled out for 357. Jayden Seales finished with figures of 5 for 49 from 16.5 overs. The Red Force, when they batted, had a sub standard display being skittled out for 140 in 58 overs. Wicketkeeper/batter Joshua Da Silva top scored with 65. Colin Archibald took 4 for 27 and Jeremiah Louis 4 for 32.
The Leewards did not enforce the follow on and returned to the crease facing 13 overs with a close of play total of 23 without loss, gaining an overall lead of 240 runs.
