West Indies Under-19 Lose To Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka and Australia will advance to the Quarter Final Round of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup as the West Indies went down to the Lankans by three wickets at Conary Park in St. Kitts.

Batting first, the Windies got to a competitive 250 for 9 in the 50 overs, with Kevin Wickham top scoring with 56. Sri Lanka chipped slowly away at the target getting to their winning tally of 251 for the loss of 7 wickets.

This means the Windies are out of contention to lift the World Cup but will move on to the plate Quarter Final.

In the second game of the day at Tarouba, South Africa trashed Ireland by 153 runs.
