West Indies ‘A’ Vs Bangladesh ‘A’ 3rd Test – Day 2 Round-Up

The West Indies ‘A’ team are in full control on Day 2 of the Third Unofficial Test against Bangladesh at the Sylhet Cricket Stadium.

Resuming their overnight score of 320 for 6, the West Indies lost an early wicket of Raymond Reifer for 56. But they pushed on, mounting a commanding 445 all out at the end of their first innings. Contributions of 83 from Tagenarine Chanderpaul, 82 from captain Joshua Da Silva, 60 from Kevin Sinclair, and 59 from Alick Athanaze led from the front.

Bowling for Bangladesh was Nasum Ahmed taking 5 wickets for 133 runs.

The home side took to the crease after tea on Day 2, and were set back on 37 for 2. Anderson Phillip and Kevin Sinclair each took two wickets at the close of play. Day 3 resumes with with Bangladesh toiling on 157 for 7, still trail by 288 runs.
