West Indies Win T20 Series Against Bangladesh

The West Indies maintained their 100% record against Bangladesh in this series, after a commanding victory in third T20 in Guyana today.

At the Providence Stadium, a 45-minute rain delay pushed the start time to 2:20pm with the visitors batting first. They were set back at 42 for 2 but Litton Dass anchored the innings with a well played 49 from 41 balls. Seven bowlers were employed by Nicholas Pooran that did quite well on a surface that favoured the batters, Hayden Walsh Junior taking 2 for 25. Middle order batter Afif Hossain top scored with a rapid 50. At the end of their 20 overs Bangladesh finished on 163 for 5.

The Windies had an early scare at 22 for 2. But Kyle Mayers took the mantle to rebuild, scoring 55 of 38 balls along with Nicholas Pooran who is back among the runs finishing not out on 74 from 39 balls. The 85 run partnership between the pair did the job for the windies as they got to 169 for 5, celebrating victory by five wickets.
