West Indies captain Hayley Matthews has been rewarded for her excellent recent form by claiming the number one spot on the latest MRF Tyres, ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings for all-rounders.
Matthews dominated with bat and ball during West Indies’ recently completed three-game ODI series at home against New Zealand and finished as West Indies’ leading run-scorer for the series and the joint highest wicket-taker .
That helped Matthews rise three spots to first with a career high rating of 380 points, moving ahead of Australia’s Ellyse Perry who is now second.
