Ravi Rampaul has been named in the West Indies 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup to be held in the UAE and Oman from October 17th to November 14th.
The selectors named an experienced team as the reigning World Champions aim to defend the title they won in 2016.
Leading the team is Kieron Pollard with Nicholas Pooran serving as Vice Captain. Fabien Allen, with veteran Dwayne Bravo, Roston Chase, Andre Fletcher, veteran Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmeyer, Evin Lewis, Obed McCoy, Ravi Rampaul, Andre Russell, Lendl Simmons, and Hayden Walsh Junior all making the cut.
The reserves are Darren Bravo, Sheldon Cotterell, Jason Holder and Akeal Hosein.
Six players from the Windes 2016 triumph have made the squad this time with Dwayne Bravo, Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Lendl Simmons and Andre Russell, all returning to help the Windies defend the title.
The tournament was delayed by a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
