Windies In Hot Water

No rain or storm could have influenced the outcome today as the West Indies, finished day one of the second test against South Africa on the back foot.

Day one began perfectly at Providence in Guyana as home boy Shamar Joseph, ran a hot knife through a buttery South African batting line up.
Joseph was on fire, grabbing five wickets for 33 runs in fourteen overs. Jayden Seales assisted with 3 for 45
South Africa dismissed in the second session for a low 160 runs.
The Windies hopes of a continued great start were short-lived, as they capitulated to 47 for 5 in 13 overs. Jason Holder entered the crease and added some stability but wickets kept tumbling. The days play was called with the home team in hot water, at 97 for 7, still trail South Africa by 63 runs moving into day two.
