The West Indies are in with a good chance of victory against Bangladesh at the end of the third day of of the First Test in Antigua.
Bangladesh, resuming on 50 for two, were bowled out for 245 in their second innings with Shakib Al Hasan’s 63 and Nurul Hasan’s 64 their top scores as they set the home team 84 for victory on the third day.
Kemar Roach was the chief destroyer with the ball for the West Indies with five wickets for 53 runs as the pacers once again proved their worth.
In their chase of 84 for victory the West Indies closed on 49 for three after an early wobble that saw them lose their three wickets for only nine runs on the board.
John Campbell’s 28 not out and Jermaine Blackwood 17 not out will aim to get the remaining 35 runs on day four for victory.
