Windies Women Surrender Sri Lanka Series

The West Indies Women, have conceded their one day series away to Sri Lanka, after they went 2-nil down, following a five 5 wicket defeat, with Sri Lanka having 172 balls to spare.

Batting first, Rashada Williams’ 24 runs would be the highest score from a West Indies batter, as they could only muster 92 runs, after 31 overs. Kavisha Dilhari with 4 wickets for Sri Lanka, put them on course to victory.

The hosts would make quick work of the run chase, thanks to a Vishmi Gunaratne half century, and Dilhari with 28, to reach 93 for 5 wickets in only 21.2 overs, to secure the match and the series win.
