The official results are in for Pan in de Sancoche with – “Worldwide” and Trinidad & Tobago Defence Force Steel Orchestras capturing the “Best Performing Band” titles in their respective categories.
The bands were awarded cash prizes donated by The National Flour Mills Limited for their renditions of popular vintage calypsos.
Single Pan Band, ((Mt. Hololo,)) Cascade -based World Wide Steel Orchestra’s winning medley included “Lazy Man”, “ Netty Netty”, “ Oh No Mr. Fox”, “Steelband Clash”, “Ice Ice”, “My Pussin” and “Drunk & Dis Orderly”
In the Small Band category, T&T Defence Steel Orchestra under the baton of Duvonne Stewart, got the nod from the panel of adjudicators with their rendition of “Disco Daddy”, Meh Lover”, “Papa Chunks”, “Soki Soki” and “All Aboard”.
D’Original Woodbrook Modernaires and Road Block took the titles of Best Flag Wavers sponsored by Trinidad & Tobago Unit Trust Corporation as well as gift bags donated by KAMCO.
