A young adult female is among 17 additional COVID-19 deaths reported by the Ministry of Health.
In its clinical update on Wednesday, the Ministry says the persons were three elderly males, seven elderly females, two middle-aged males, four middle aged females, and one young adult female. Two of the persons had no known medical conditions.
Their deaths take the COVID-related death toll to 3, 119. Of the deaths to date, 177 persons were fully vaccinated.
The Ministry of Health has also recorded 577 new Positive cases of COVID-19, from samples taken between January 6th and January 11th. The total number of active cases is 15,988.
